        I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, whether they are simply looking to improve a part of themselves or have hit a major "bump" in the road. I actively assist clients who are struggling with relationship-based problems, and I have received advanced training in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) for couples, ETT (Emotional Transformation Therapy), and NET (Neuro Emotional Technique). In addition to my licensure as a Marriage & Family Therapist, I am a Certified Sexual Assault Counselor, Certified Trauma Response Specialist, Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress (BCETS), and Board Certified in Bereavement Trauma (BCBT). I believe my clients already possess the answers they need, and I empower them to search for their internal strengths and use them to overcome their personal challenges. My greatest joy is watching a client reap the benefits of active participation in therapy! As an adjunct to traditional therapy, I occasionally facilitate therapeutic groups, parenting classes, and psycho-educational workshops.         This therapist actually cares!

        There are not enough words that can explain how I felt after seeing Stephanie. I went to her in bad shape...I think I cried for most of the first session. However, Stephanie's genuine concern for my situation and her willingness to help me figure out what was happening to me was remarkable. She even made personal calls to other health care providers to help me in getting the additional services I needed. She is a true gem!
