Alan Kunsman Roofing & Siding

This is worst roofer in the Lehigh Valley! They Do not return your call and when they do they have an attitude!!!!! They are completely incompetent, do not call them. Cant figure out the problem, charge you for some repair and then they go away.

I got a call on Friday Nov. 5 that the crew would be out to fix the siding on Monday Nov. 8th. I returned home to find the job was completed and done very well. It doesn't even look like I had siding pieces replaced.

Mr. Kunsman came out day before rain to inspect flashings and valleys, sent workers out next day in the rain to apply tarp to keep inside dry until work began which was immediately after the rain. Used them before to repair slates/downspouts/gutters after winter storms, very pleased. Workmen are experts in their trade and genuine in concern for you and your home.

I have used Alan Kunsman Roofing for over ten years to maintain my aging slate roof and have been consistently impressed with their knowledge, thoroughness, and professionalism. Their prices are extremely fair and consistent, and they have gone above and beyond in helping me solve some complicated roof lead issues. I am frustrated and tired of calling this place and never getting a return call. Part of our house (garage) was reshingled nicely, but the repairs to the main house were not done, and I cannot get ahold of anyone to talk to me about why this hasn't been done, or even get a call back. They are a waste of my time and money. I wouldn't recommend these people to anyone.

We have used Alan Kunsman many times for different jobs. Everyone that we ever dealt with there was always pleasant and did an excellent job. We have met Alan himself on several occasion, he is a wonderful man, and knows his business. We have always been more than pleased and would recommend him to anyone!

I have had Kunsman do a number of jobs for me and he and his crew have always performed as promised, on time, and done a quality job. On one job they showed up aqnd the shingles they had were the incorrect shade and they went and got the correct shade. All other work such as gutters, roof repairs et al has always been top notch.

Our Homeowners Association completed reroofing of all units June 2009 with Don Link and Mike Richline as key contacts/supervisors on the job. Quality was excellent! Neat work with daily cleanup and polite, well spoken roofing crew. They honor their work warranty to the letter with gracious quick response. A pleasure to work with- good value for your money.

ok, where to begin. the bid i received specified to replace the shingles around the skylights that were being replaced with matching ones. the roof has brown shingles. they put grey shingles. when i complained they said that company doesn't make brown shingles anymore. right. everyone makes brown shingles, they just used left over shingles from another job. i paid extra for matching shingles. then the skylights leaked after they were installed. that's why they were replaced!! after much attitude from the owner (he actually said they're supposed to leak at first, um, really) the workers finally came out and fixed the leak. it just rained for 4 days, first time since they fixed the skylight leak, and now it's leaking from the roofing that they replaced. it never leaked before, they worked on it, now it does. i'm gearing up for a fight to get them out here to fix this leak too. oh, and they were totally overpriced. if i had had the time i would have gone elsewhere.
