Merry Maids

Merry Maids in Las Cruces has been cleaning my house for the last few months. I have been nothing but impressed with their professionalism, communication, pricing, and of course, how well they clean. Going home to a clean home that you didn't lift a finger to clean, is a great feeling. Knowing that your home is getting cleaned by a national company backed with years of experience is even more comforting. They take great pride in their work and truly go out of their way to make sure the house is thoroughly cleaned. I did lots of research trying to find a company that I was comfortable with, after talking to several companies that offer similar services in this area, I chose Merry Maids because I felt most comfortable after talking with their managers. They assured me of what services were going to be offered and did everything they said they would. I'm glad I chose Merry Maids in Las Cruces and would recommend them to everyone!

Jared and Maylene Bellon, the owners of the business, cleaned my apartment themselves, presumably because they were overbooked or else he and his wife compose the majority of the staff. Be warned: THESE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS. They did not know how to remove calcium build up from the faucets, cup rings from the tables, or how to clean the debris from under the burners on the stove: I have done all these things in my house before, so I know that true professionals should have known enough to take care of them. Jared was extremely rude when confronted about not only doing shoddy work, but actually DAMAGING my apartment. He dropped black, tarry drops of goo all over my white carpet and tried to convince me that it was there before. Maylene Bellon cleaned my nightstand and actually stripped the finish off. She hid it under a coaster so that i didn't notice until they left. When I called to complain, she admitted to doing the damage. Jared Bellon took the phone away from his wife and denied that the damage had been their fault. I had to threaten them with a lawsuit before they would pay for the damage. When Jared Bellon came back to finish his orginal shoddy job, he would take no direction from me , would not look at me when I spoke, and blatantly ignored me. He would listen only to my fiancee. My fiancee gave Jared Bellon a reader's digest article on how to remove cup rings and with my fiancees supervision, he was able to remove them. My fiancee then instructed him to watch as I used brillo pads with "oxy power" to remove the calcium build up without any damage to the sink. Finally, I removed all the components of the stove top and showed him how everything flaked off. Jared Bellon, the world's only chauvanistic male maid, refused to apologize for the inconvenience, the unprofessionalism, the damage, and the insults. The house has now reached an acceptable level of cleanliness and the damage has been repaired, but it took constant supervision of Jared Bellon, the threat of a law suit, and getting my own hands dirty after paying the 400$ we'd payed him and his wife to clean the 800 sq. ft. space. Don't waste you money on these crooks that masquerade as maids. There are cheaper cleaning services out there that certainly can't be any worse than these clowns.
