You won't be disappointed! I had various mechanics for my 74 beetle over the last 15 years. Unfortunately, only 2 have ever proven to truly know how to work on a 74 air-cooled engine, or suspension system thereof. My previous mechanic was good but went out of business a few years ago some months after his landlord increased the rates on his lease incredibly. I was later referred to Mike at Advanced Foreign Auto in Norwalk. What a blessing! He really listens to the customer and truly knows his stuff! Great service - great attitude - personable...a pleasure to have as a mechanic! I wish I could of found him in my search 15 years ago...it would of saved me lots of time and lots and lots of money from other's mistakes (excluding my previous mechanic, of course).
