Talk about great soup, this is it. They sell it to go by the quart all day long. It is a simple little cafe, not very attractive, but it is clean, and the soup is heaven. They do have seating in the main room for about 16, but they also have a second room for groups which holds about 50 or so. All the soups are vegetarian. My favorites are: split pea, cabbage, vegetable, and then everything else. There prices ... not cheap, but cheaper than the competition (deli's and grocery stores, and other restaurants). I only have one complaint, the paper napkins are too small. I can dab my mouth with it, but it won't cover my lap. Two, won't cover my lap, because they will fall off. They opened in 1991. That is a long time with such a simple menu. They also prepare dairy dishes like Mac+Cheese or Cheese Lasagna. They do not serve any meat (Chicken, Beef, etc ...). They are the masters of soup.
