Steak 'n Shake

Staff took almost 5 minutes to even acknowledge I was at the menu in the drive thru. No cars in front of me when I pulled up so it's not like they were busy with the drive thru. I asked for a sandwich and a drink only. They repeated the order back to me, it was incorrect. Instead of a sandwich and a drink, they punched in a combo meal but at least it was the right sandwich. So rather than arguing I just accepted it and drove to the window. Sat there for another 13 minutes. Finally got the food and left. Got home and checked the food, they did give me a combo but it turned out to be the wrong combo meal all together.

I called the restaurant and asked for a team lead or supervisor and was immediately hung up on. I immediately called back and a different employee answered, again I asked for a team lead or manager and was again immediately hung up on. I called back a third time. This time they answered the phone with an attitude and mostly only gave short one word answers. I asked for a team lead, the employee said 'okay'..... Long awkward silence.... Finally I asked if that's who I was talking to... She said yes, so I started to complain about the experience. She ended up talking over me and was rude. Never addressed my concerns about the time it took to get served, the time it took to be acknowledged at the drive thru, being hung up on 3 times prior to this call. This is laughable customer service. I can understand being a little short with a pissy customer but that's not what happened here. This is the 3rd or 4th bad experience I've had at this location but the first time I've decided to complain.

Awful service. Waitress was surly, rude, and reluctant to provide any kind of service. As well as completely ignoring several requests.
