Bark Avenue Daycamp

Bosco loves coming here for daycare and I love that happy look he gets on his face when we pull up. He boards here once or twice a year but comes for daycare all the time.
I tell everyone with a dog about this place. I'm glad we found it.

I would recommend Bark Avenue to anyone with a dog. They go way above and beyond ensuring that your dog is happy and healthy while boarding. They encourage you to call as often as you like for your peace of mind and I love that the customer service here is awesome.



My dog plays all day every day while he boards here (at least once per month) and the tour they gave me when I first came showed me how clean and friendly this place is.

IF YOU WANT YOUR DOG TO GET SICK, AND GET HOSPITALIZED, GO TO BARK AVENUE!!!!! We boarded our very healthy, happy energetic lab for 4 days and the day she got home, she started incessant coughing, lost all appetite, her eyes filled with mucus, and developed a fever of 103.9. A week later, she had to be hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia. All of the vets who tended to her told me that she could have died. When I contacted Michelle at Bark Avenue, she told me that she was within the law, and she would not help with any vet bills. OVER $2000 and 3 weeks later, our dog is starting to get better. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG, NEVER GO TO THIS IRRESPONSIBLE PLACE.

PS....since I posted a review, Bark Avenue's attorneys are threatening to sue me. What do you think, should I retract this review??????

I'm sorry to hear that you had what you consider a bad experience, but my 2 dogs are there 3-4 days a week and so far have never been sick. It is one of the cleanest facilities considering they handle on average 30-50 dogs a day! Have you looked at some of the other places? Maybe you should be finding out why your dog's immune system is so poor. What are you feeding it? Do you give it vitamins? Putting a dog in daycare or boarding is no different than putting your kid in school or daycare! Can you honestly expect them to never catch a cold or some other bug?

We boarded our dog here twice. The first time he came home with a cold - was groggy and sneezed for a week. The second time he got an infection in his mouth. I would not recommend to anyone. We will not be sending our dog back.
