This rating is based solely on the receptionist who was being extremely rude and disrespectful. I called to simply ask what the address of the location was. The first time I called the receptionist hung up on me without letting me ask my question. The second time I called she let me ask my question and she answered it in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. She then proceeded to end the phone call by yelling "STOP CALLING." I called the location only twice and the only reason I had to call a second time was because she hung up the phone the first time. Ma'am your customer service skills are horrible. If you are going to be answering phones your personality will have to change for the better drastically. There is no need to take out your frustration on anyone who has contacted the office for simple information. If the job is not cut out for you I suggest you do some serious thinking as to what your true calling is. Have a blessed day.

Gus Brown and his firm are amazing. When we had a family member killed in Maryland he was who we trusted to handle it for us. I am a board certified personal injury attorney in Texas and he is who I consider the go to attorney in Maryland for any type of injury case. His firm also took care of the probate issues with amazing skill and compassion. If you have an injury, death or probate issue in Maryland take care of yourself and your family by contacting Brown, Brown and Young.

Ned Curry, a newer member of this firm, recently distinguished himself as a criminal defense attorney in several high-profile cases. He really listens to his clients, believes in challenging the authorities to comply with the law at every instance, and has the best needs of his defendant clients foremost in his mind at all times. He is a jewel of a defense attorney, and in today's world, that's saying a lot! The firm gives great service, and that's unique.

Over the course of almost 2 years in which BB&Y handled he settlement of my family's estate (and had told me not to worry about fees because they had been old friends of my mother), I consistently felt as though I was an afterthought, something they 'got around to' at the end of the week. On numerous occasions, legal complications arose that could have been headed off and weren't, which resulted in the entire process being bogged down & delayed. Then at the end they had the audacity to charge me $11,000 in 'counsel fees' anyway. I definitely recommend looking elsewhere.

I have had personal experience with Jay Young's excellence as an estate and land planning lawyer -- he's the best. If you have ANY question about your will or your assets, give him a call. You will be very glad you did (I did, and I am).
