I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FRANCHISE OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES AGAIN! Got a quote on a noise I was having on my vehicle & was given "the oldest scam in the book!" I *knew* I needed brakes & that my rear sway bar was broken on the left side but instead, walked out with a $1700 quote -- which included the needed brakes, sway bar repair, & alignment -- but WORST of all -- an unnecessary $550+ lower ball joint SCAM attempt. Now, I am a woman but I am no idiot when it comes to cars, so I took the car to the original dealership in Plainfield & a TWO dealership mechanics with over 30 yrs collective experience advised me on this 'ball joint' scam MANY shops are trying to pull! Got the brakes & sway bar repair done at the dealership for under $400 & didn't need an alignment! After investigating as well on the net, I found tons of references to the LOWER BALL JOINT SCAM and even *complaints* about NTB pulling it elsewhere in the country! STAY AWAY FROM NTB!
