Whole Foods Market

If you have shopped other Whole Food Markets, you will find that this one is far below the standard.

The selection of produce and meat are a small fraction of the displays at other stores. The grocery aisles offer very limited selection.

the main focus appears to be prepared food.

Even the staff is on a lower level.

I live so close to this Whole Foods and we waited and waited for into open. I go all the time and I will continue to go. W really do love many things about it, however there are some small things worth mentioning.... There have been some times that I have left WF disappointed with the overall quality of the food.... I have been fortunate to only deal with kind employees at this WF, however the quality of the food (also salad bar) depends on the employees. W spend a lot of money there, we meaning ALL of us. In my opinion, they should be serving only the freshest foods. I went today and every fresh basil packet was molded. I was so disappointed as my recipe for tonight's dinner calls for fresh basil. Last week I went there for a bag of spinach and there was none... Second time this has happened. Harris Teeter never runs out of spinach! Also, on occasion, the salad bar has been disappointing. Once there was no protein on the salad bar.... No chicken, turkey, nothing. Often the greens are withered.

Anyway, I'm hoping an employee reads this review and does something about it. Like I said, I'll continue to go back bc it's so convenient to my house, but often times it leaves me dissatisfied and 80$ (or more) poorer...not that I'm complaining about their prices... We all know its an expensive supermarket.
