As the founder of Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics, Dr. Truong has shared his surgical artistry with patients from all over the country as well as clients abroad. Dr. Truong is triple board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Truong is a well-respected among patients and peers and holds a long list of academic awards and professional accolades. Dr. completed medical school at University of Colorado School of Medicine where he was encouraged to pursue a surgical career by his professors who saw in him the rare combination of intellect and talented hands that are the hallmarks of an excellent surgeon. Dr. Truong served as Chief Resident at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Lutheran General Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and St. Francis Hospital. During his surgical training, Dr. Truong received numerous awards and was published for his research work in skin regeneration and artificial skin. Dr. Truong pursued his interests in aesthetic surgery by gaining acceptance to a highly competitive American Academy Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship followed by an Aesthetic Plastic Surgery apprenticeship. During his fellowships, Dr. Truong dedicated two years EXCLUSIVELY to the art and practice of Cosmetic Surgery.         Extremely satisfied with my results

        After some research and visiting Dr. Truong I made the decision of moving forward with the Smart Lipo procedure. Dr. Truong listened carefully to my concerns and was able to address all of my questions with great detail of explanation. He provided me with a realistic picture of what I would be able to expect and it was all accurate! I have been back for all of my post op appointments and although my procedure took place over six months ago, I get the precise and required attention every time.

        Amazing attention to detail!

        I am so happy with my entire experience at Chicago Breast and Body! From the moment I called and set up my appointment until I left, everything ran smoothly. I was offered a hot drink when I first walked in, which was such a comfort considering how chilly Chicago can be. I was a little nervous going into my consult but Monika (the patient coordinator) and Dr. Truong put me at ease by answering all my questions no matter how trivial. I cant wait to schedule my surgery here!
