New Place Lounge

Food sucked. Owner or manager (short, dark-haired man) was a total DB. Place was dirty, atmosphere was totally non-existent! Avoid this nasty place!

I've been going to this bar for 14 years. I went in this afternoon and for the first time was served by the owner. He was unfriendly and didn't respond to conversation attempts, and struggled to make a Manhattan. Everyone else is somewhat friendly, but knowing he is the owner will keep me from returning.

Been going there for years and have known the family for over 50. The best neighborhood bar in town. Great food and everyone's friendly And don't forget to check out the game room there's nothing quite like it. Good bands on the weekends. And to the woman with all the complaints, in the 50+ years I've known Ray I've never seen him take a drink much less get drunk. Are you sure it was The New Place that you were in?
