Ordinarily, I do not spend time reviewing many retailers, however; I feel it necessary to warn others regarding this establishment. After looking at several furniture stores in the Lake area, I decided on the Furniture Outlet since they seemed very caring and honorable in their actions. My selection was a bed with end tables and a sofa which was on their display floor with two end tables and a cocktail table. After ordering the furniture, I received a call from them stating my selections were no longer available. This seemed odd especially since the alternative selections were exactly the same price, however; I truly believed in their explanation. After waiting longer than promised, the furniture was delivered with the owner actually taking time to do so himself. Everything was fine until within 2 months, the sofa which was not cheap by any means ($1000) began to deteriorate. The cushions began failing and the arms collapsed. After literally taking apart the sofa I discovered how very poorly the unit was manufactured. The arms had a little cotton batten in them being held by cardboard. Yes, cardboard. After writing to the store and addressing the issues, I have heard absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, I no longer live at the Lake. If I did, I would put it in their parking lot with a sign stating not to deal with them. Buyer beware, these people do not have any concern for their customers.
