I have just completed by second cataract removal by Dr. Botelho. The first doctor I went to was going to perform my first cataract removal at the end of April after telling me that I was beyond legally blind in one eye, and I was relying on my other eye that was already bad. I was told that his eye surgery center would not accept my health insurance and he went to Charlton only one morning per month. I then went to Dr. Botelho who removed the first cataract two weeks later and the other three weeks later. I now have 20-20 vision in both eyes. As well as being an excellent surgeon, I found Dr. Botelho to be a soft-spoken, kind and extremely compassionate man, who made me feel most comfortable in this frightening situation I was facing. Everyone on his staff, both in the Fall River and Dartmouth offices are wonderful people. If I could give him 100 stars, I would. No words can express my thanks to you Dr. Botelho. Debi Ramos
