        The Tire Mart has a longstanding history in the Frederick, MD area. In 1965, Ken Martin bought a small church and turned it into a tire shop. Ken used to recap tires inside the old church and change tires in the driveway before building the main shop in 1974. In 1978, a tire technician, Mitch, began working for Ken. Mitch met Ken's daughter, Karen, and in 2001, Mitch and Karen Nikirk bought the shop from Ken.

        I chose Tire Mart to replace my tire, after something caused an 1 1/4 slice in my tire tread, over a couple closer shops based on my gut instinct. I'm glad I did. I received prompt and courteous service. I was there for less than 2 hours, and it was only that long because they did not have my particular tire in stock. They did, however, order it and it was delivered quickly. I would not hesitate to go to Tire Mart again or recommend them to a friend.

        Went to see these guys , and they are great. Took me right away and knew exactly how to repair my truck. Prices were great. And the little guy behind the counter is very knowledgeable

        Fredericks best kept secret! Dont let there location scare you. Nice helpfull gentlemen with alot of knowledge. Took my car after being at the dealer. Went over the car told me what I actually needed and was much more afordable. Dont be afraid to head to Degrange and check these guys out!!!!

        The owner is great. Mitch gives great prices and the work is excellent. I send my 2 18 year old children there for their car repair. I never have to worry, because I know everything will be taken care of correctly. I would recommend Tire Mart to everyone.
