Asiana Market

I read the other review, obviously posted by someone who works there, and thought, "wow, this place must be great". It's good, but only average. Not worth driving many miles to get to, but OK.

My favorite Restaurant in Memphis. I have traveled all over Asia, and this is a primo Asian restaurant, much loved by patrons who know Korean food; local Koreans are much enamored of this restaurant. The authentic dishes are unbelievably good, the staff are very congenial, and prompt. The selection is very good, mostly Korean, with a nice side selection of traditional Japanese dishes, not trendy sushi. They also serve hot Sake, and have the best Kim-chi of their own recipes. Their barbecue tables and soups are great for the presentation of a uniquely fantastic cuisine. Their food will have you reacting like Bill Murray from "What About Bob?" at the dinner scene. This is one of the most popular restaurants in Memphis. I live three hours from Memphis, and visit this restaurant every time I come to town, taking extra orders home with me.
