I'm sure the majority of women facing this decision have a similar reaction to mine: "Just get the cancer out... now." You don't stop to think about what you'll look like afterwards.

Radiology Services: These fees will be charged for imaging such as X-ray, MRI, or CT scan. This fee may include two parts: the handling of any samples and the reading by a radiologist. This is billed through the radiology department.

Dr. Shaver graduated with Honors from University of California, Davis with his Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 1988. University of California San Francisco saw his completion of General Surgery Residency plus an additional two year Endocrine Surgery fellowship.
Wound Care
For most surgical procedures you will have dressings covered by waterproof transparent dressings; this allows you to shower. We will remove dressings here at your first visit. Some procedures may require you to care for your site and we will instruct you in this. If you are unable to perform care, we will be happy to help arrange home care or perform wound care here in our office.
Robotic Surgery
He has a specific interest in colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, rectal prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, and benign anorectal disorders. He specializes in both laparoscopic and robotic surgery, as well as transanal endoscopic operations. He is passionate about providing the most advanced care possible to his patients.
