Raw Beauty Artistry

FUTURE BRIDES should know about Hanna who is the owner of Raw Beauty Artistry. My wedding was May 16, 2015 Hanna MADE ME LATE TO MY OWN WEDDING!!!!!!!! She is a BIG LIAR!!! I personally booked Hanna in February, at first we were going to get ready at my ceremony venue. I SPECIFICALLY booked Hanna because she had airbrush, which I told her MANY TIMES I wanted. I sent new address by email in February AND SHE responded to that email. It was agreed by email she would arrive at 10:30 at that address. She DIDN'T EVEN SHOW!!! Or EVEN bother to inform me. I had to call her at 10:32 asking where she was. She stated "she was not coming, she had to let 2 girls go so she had to be at another party, so 2 other girls will be there soon and they have everything". Then came 11:00 still no girls/no call. Called her again asking where are girls, which address did she send them to.





She stated" the girls are at the venue."

I told her "NO NO, I gave you the updated address."

She says "she didn't get it."

I said " YES you did, you responded back to the email."

Her response(inconsiderate)" instead of getting worked up tell me where you are!"





REALLY! REALLY! which bride wants to hear that on her important, special day. Girls got there at 11:30 to 12, and my wedding is to start at 3pm. Me, 3 bridesmaids, and flower girl needed hair and make up done.





Now when I say Hanna is a LIAR!

1) she lied about not getting the updated address in email 2) lied telling the girls I didn't want airbrush, which my bridal trial was done with airbrush. Also AIRBRUSH is stated on on business profile. 3) girls didn't have my bridal trial picture. 4) told girls she contacted me Friday the 15th letting me know she wasn't coming. 5 )lied about price, girls told me a different price.





The girls who came stated THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME Hanna has done this. So ladies if you want to risk your special day please book her, but for her girls to tell me she's done this more than once, that's unprofessional and you can't count on her.



Obviously shes done this so many times according to other reviews.

Today was my nieces prom and I believe it was Hanna that text me to tell me that her stylist car broke down on the freeway. I told her that I would pick her up I would even help find her a tow truck and her daughter was more then welcomed to come along. She replied that there was nothing she could do and that I should look into finding a salon to take my niece to.That would have been fine had it been any other day but no it's prom day every MUA and stylist were booked the MACY makeup counters were booked the hair salons were booked. My niece was in tears she could not go with her friends as was the plan she had to wait till the next available artist at the makeup counters which was not until 4pm she also was the very last customer at the hair salon which was around 5:30 we had to stop by the store and buy visine to get the red out of her eyes from all the crying she did. It was so sad to watch her just sit at the Macy makeup counters hoping to have an opening asap.all the while watching all the other girls come in and out getting their makeup done while she sat by. My neice ended up arriving to the prom late. She missed her champagne party which was suppose to be for her and her friends, she missed her limo ride. She missed out on a lot today and we owe it all to raw beauty artistry. Her parents had to drive her to the prom. I honestly don't believe Hanna when she said her stylist car broke down. On such a special occasion as this no one should ever have to go through this. If I could give this less then one star I would. When she first text me that she was canceling I tried calling and she wouldn't pick up. All in all it was a horrible experience. I would not recommend Raw Beauty Artistry to even my worst enemy.

Make up was poorly done, told owner that I needed to cancel our appt for the wedding date and now she isn't even responding. Waste of money! I was told she would spend 2 hours on each member to find what suited us best hair and make up, when I wasn't happy with my make up she said she could only remove half of my face and do the air brush, if I wanted my whole face redone that would need to be a different day. It looked a little better but then started yellowing once it set, none of our make up lasted even 3 hours! An hour after I had my lashes applied one started lifting, part of my eyeshadow was creme and was cracking and falling into my eyes, she saw the cracking and pretty much did nothing about it. What if I had somewhere to go after!? She had other ladies waiting in the car and truly seemed to be in a rush. On myself and another girl she and her helper finished hair and make up in 2 hours and 45 minutes when we were under the impression we each would get 2 hours! Now I am out the trial money 95$ and I need to find a new artist!

Where should I start... I asked Hanna Olivas for a natural, but full look. She took about 30 mins to complete the session which I was impressed at first, but concern at the same time (hoping she did a good job). Within 48 hrs 85% of the lashes fell off. I messaged her pictures to show her and she stated she used a glue that was for sensitive people and perhaps that's why they fell off and that she would use a stronger glue next time. We reschedule an appointment the following week, because she was going to be out of town for weekend. I wanted them for the Valentine's weekend and it didn't work out so therefore, I asked for a refund. She stated that she didn't do refund. She became unprofessional and defensive. Blaming me for the lashes falling off, I still have the conversation saved to show anyone that is interested. She became very unpleasant at the end, I'm not one to argue so I ended the conversation by telling her I will be seeing her on the day the appointment was set up. Wish it ended there.... She failed to show up and did not bother to advise me. At the end she literally took $80 and left me without lashes. I'm a big believer what goes around, comes around and didn't bother to follow up with her. I waited longer than I should have, to see if she would follow up with me. Nope, I heard nothing from her. I have plenty of words to describe this situation, but bottom line she was Unprofessional, would not recommend anyone to used her services.
