I have been talking my little girl to Huffards since she was 4 months old for boarding, check ups and grooming everyone at Huffards are great my little girl loves going there where we get there she just walks in like she owns the place Julie is the best Daisy loves her and I have taken her there in not so good condition not that I am proud of that fact but she has hair that mats very easy and hates it when I brush her but Julie works wonders with her. wouldnt take her any where else

We have two cats that have been going to Huffard Animal Clinic for about 2 years and we highly recommend the clinic. They have even made our move to another state go smoother by calling in one of my cat's perscription to our new state. My two cats have also used the Kitty Condo on many occasions for boarding and Megan is absolutely wonderful taking care of my cats!

Our pets have been given loving care by Huffard veterinarians, technicians, and staff for about 20 years, when we adopted our first dog, Smokey. They saw us through the treatment and ultimate loss of three dogs and one cat. We lost our two beloved dogs, Bailey and Henry, in 2012. Bailey's loss was sudden, but Henry was ill for several weeks. The care Dr. Colleen McCafferty gave Henry couldn't have been better, and she grieved with us at his lost. We board our pets at Huffard, and Julie has been our groomer. We will always have a warm spot in our hearts for the staff at Huffard.

Members of my family have been dealing with Huffards Animal Hospital for many years, even when Dr. Huffard was still practicing. For the past 9 years, I've been going there for my dogs and absolutely love Dr. Colleen McCafferty. She is wonderful not only with the animals, but the family members as well. She seen my dogs through serious illnesses with compassion. She's also referred me to excellent specialists when they were needed. I cannot say enough good about Huffards and Dr. McCafferty!!

What a great place to take your pet. People often complain about the bloodwork that is run before surgery because of the cost, but it actually saved my pets life and detected a kidney problem that would have most likley killed him while having the procedure. Please do whatever is recomended by your doctor. What a great bunch of people, doctors and staff!!!!

It may be a little pricey at times but I think it all worth it for the quality care we received for our dog. She actually likes animals and it reflects in her work...I love it there....But most of all ...MY DOG LOVES HER :)

THANK YOU! Veterinarians often come under fire for the loss of a pet because the vet is usually the last person to be responsible for the care of a sick or injured pet. Huffard Animal Hosp has been our vet for over 20 years & made our tragic, emotionally devastating experience peaceful and humane. I can't thank their staff enough for the way we were treated as well as the great care we have been given throughout the years. When we euthanized another pet after we moved across the bay bridge we were made to feel like undeducated hillbillies at our new vet. Our vet, Dr. McCafferty from Huffard's treated us compassionately & explained every thing she was going to be doing. We were able to have a private, comfortable room with a couch,a thorough explanation of the procedure & able to pay our bill without waiting so we could just leave when we were ready. We received Rocky's ashes in a beautiful box & a sympathy card signed individually. We wish so badly we could still use Huffard's!

I have been grooming my dog at Huffard's for a few years. Julie is talented, competent, and takes care of the dogs with professionalism. My dog is always well taken care of...no extraneous cuts or other injuries, like I've seen at other groomers. I am extremely particular and this is the best groomer around. I highly recommend Huffard's for the grooming and will continue to go there. In fact, I don't think I could trust my dog to anyone else. Bravo Julie!!!!!

Vets that get to know your family and provide care specifically related to your pets. Our favorite vet is Colleen McAfferty. She has cared for all of our dogs with love and compassion and professionalism. We adopt rescue dogs, some with serious traumatic experiences. Huffard's always recommends the best specialists if they feel that they cannot provide the proper care. They have demonstrated that the care of the animal is foremost.
