Expertise

The service here is absolutely appalling. I brought my car in for a number of isssues and was told they had found the route of the problem but it would take a couple days to fix. After having my car there for over a week without hearing from them I called to ask about my car. The first person who answered told me he hadn't looked at the car yet and would call me when they found the problem. I told him that I was told they found the issue and the car should have been fixed by now. He then gave the manager the phone who told me he was "working on it" and that I need to be patient and stop calling him because I'm interrupting his work by making him come to the phone constantly. I told him I was just trying to figure out how long I'd be without a car so I can make areangemnts on my end. He then proceded to raise his voice and tell me that I'm frustrating him and he basically doesn't have time to speak to me and then hung up on me. I never once raised my voice or was rude I was simply asking for a time frame. I ended that phone call in tears because of the way he spoke to me. I would recommend never bringing your car here!

Car was brought in for exhaust...

Car was brought in for exhaust work. I have seen high-end cars brought to this shop so i figured it was a decent shop. I had a catback in mind that i wanted, but owner recommended me a different exhaust which they said was "top of the line". I specified that i wanted the exhaust to be as quiet as possible. I took the recommendation and had the suggested exhaust ordered and installed. After picking up the car the I noticed the following: downpipe flange and cat flange were cut off and directly welded, Downstream O2 sensor was not installed, the exhaust was extremely loud, the muffler would smack the bumper constantly even over small bumps, end of tip did not reach the beginning of the bumper cover. Owner said my car does not have a rear O2 sensor after i told him that i am leaving it in the car for when he installs the catback. I ordered an additional resonator and brought it back over. The resonator was installed. The O2 sensor was installed. The car was still extremely loud even after and additional resonator. The original exhaust came with a resonator. The exhaust still moved around and hit the bumper. the tip was still not moved past the beginning of the rear bumper cover. I told owner about these issues and he said to come back and he'll fix them for free. Every time I call his says he is busy. Shop is only open at the time I have work so i always have to take off from work to make it in. The owner supposedly says that he comes in on Saturdays sometimes, but i have yet to see that.

Extensive performance work on my vehicle

I recently brought in my car for an estimate on a full turbo kit. Both managers gave extensive professional advice without cutting corners and telling me what I wanted to hear. They were forward and honest with their recommendations which ended up saving me money in the long run. After my initial consultation I brought my car back for the performance installation. The work they performed was top notch including the most difficult aspect, tuning the car! The guys at GrandPrix are straight shooters, and their work and knowledge is excellent.

Blamed pre-existing problems on customer

The manager of the company sold me a car, said I will not have a problem with it, although it was used. He worked on the car himself. I started having problems with it the very first time I went on a highway. When I came back to the shop, both managers, Anton and his father, Michael told me that all four rims were bent, the tire rod needed to be replaced, the wheels needed to be balanced and alinged. All after 3 WEEKS of me driving it. I was told I bended all the wheels, and caused the rest of the problems, and I was charged over $460 for the work. The person who worked on the car obviously overlooked, or didn't notice those problems, or just did't care. I would recommend avoiding doing business there.
