Happy Dog's Grooming

I have a registered standard poodle and we've had him to several places, and it was always a struggle to get him in the door. Not at Haqppy Dods. He hops out of the car and beelines it to the door. He comes out looking fabulious. Thanks ladies for the great service! . . . linda

Jun 7, 2011 The grooming job was decent, but my canine came back with a little companion... that being a flea. My dog is severely allergic to flea bites, so we try to avoid this. This is the second groomer where fleas have been picked up. It is sad to know that this business was recommended by a local vet. Yes, the staff is friendly, but I do not want my pet to suffer from a reaction to flea bites. I do not know if the flea came from the building itself or the outside environment surrounding the house, but I know it did not come from my house. All I can say is clean the business up, so there are no pests to speak of. I will not visit this groomer again. Thank you for the experience. I know now to visit a grooming location before setting an appointment.

Update Jun 8, 2011 I am really irked now. I found more fleas on my canine and they ended up on me. I would not recommend this groomer to anyway who cares if they have a flea infestation in their homes. I will now have to vacuum all my carpets yet again to ensure there are none on the floor. Thank you again for making my day!

Lori & her staff have groomed my precious Bichon Frise for 11 years. They are responsive to his needs & accommodating to our requests. We are treated like family at Happy Dogs. This small business is indeed a hidden gem!
