I got my roof in 2006 I just didn't see this place until now.
Actually tried to talk me out of removing the old shingles. I thought there were three layers already and wanted everything taken off. He said there were only two but the edges make it look like there were three. I had everything taken off anyway. I told him I wanted 3 whirlybird vents and he told me my roof size only needed two. I said one is just for the garage so he said OK.
So, the stuff that I wanted that was unnecessary, he flat out told me it was unnecessary. Nice to know honest craftsman are still around.
