Cobalt Grille

This was my first visit to Cobalt Grill and I was very disappointed. It definitely was NOT worth the price. I ordered Rockefeller Catch and the fish was a flounder. It was overlooked and dry. The meal was salty and I requested the meal without the bacon. The bathroom was not very clean. I was sitting at a booth and the ledge against the wall was full if dust. I also wasn't impressed with the salt and pepper shakers on the table. What? No fresh cracked pepper? I don't mind paying for good meals and service. But I do have a problem with paying for less than mediocre food. The service was also mediocre. I will never go back.

Tonight three professional women visted this establishment for the first time. The atmosphere was great, but the cusine was not acceptable. We had the crabmeat dish as an appetizer, which was excellent. However, we were really anticipating a great entree, but were very, very disappointed with the main course. Two of us had the Chicken Penne Pasta, which had a nice flavor but the sauce was extremely watery ( which took alot from the dish). The third young lady dining with us had a scallop and shrimp ravioli dish. Here again the sauce was "thin" and overly "cheesey". Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the dining experience tonight and as it stands we do not plan to return.



The restaurant, is in a wonderful location and the greeters and waiters were very professional as well as pleasant. Our suggestion is for your chef to re-visit the preparation of your menu items, such as the meals mentioned above. Much success to the Cobalt Grill in the future.
