We took our son to this business and our experience was negative at best. For us, it didn���t seem like a professional nor kind business. It is made up mainly of substance abuse counselors. FYI:
Substance Abuse Counselor Licenses don���t require a college degree. However, they do employ some professionals. As far as ���Individual��� Mental Health Therapist, it seemed there was quite a turnover. However, his class or group Mental Health Therapist remained the same, as she stated she was good friends and an ex-coworker of the owners.
Disturbingly, as we came to discover, many of their substance abuse counselors have broken the law and have been imprisoned for drug offenses. Many have "disciplinary actions" taken against their substance abuse licenses, as per public records show.
Regarding our son���s class or group mental health therapist, she was both verbally and mentally abusive. She would curse our son out as well as call him demeaning names. For example, she���d call him an ���F'n Anti-social��� (he was never diagnosed antisocial). Next, he was required to "process���(instead of responding to defend himself) his antisocial denial and take accountability for it.
Upon trying to resolve such abuses, we were met with only unreasonableness. Our words were twisted and spun in favor of her accusations. We were continuously told in what seemed to be such a belittling tone, to ���hold on and wait a minute���-- making it virtually impossible for us to defend ourselves or give a response to such baseless madness. It seemed these folks have been programed to think in a way which requires a lack of emotion/compassion and reasonable thinking.
Recently, we through discovery, learned that many of their employees work or worked with them at one of the nations most abusive chain of drug treatment facilities. In fact, recently this facility made the News for similar abuses. The facility���s abusive director used intimidation toward it���s vulnerable residents to keep them silent and he fired employees who spoke out against him. One employee who was fired, filed a law suit against the facility and won.
Sadly, our son is now worse off then before. He has developed nerve rashes, has little self-worth and doubts his every thought. We feel so guilty for not knowing the truth about this place. We can only hope that this information proves helpful for others. Thank you.

If you are actually really in need of help with addiction problems. DO NOT GO HERE! A massive WASTE OF TIME motivated only by $ The owners and employees should be ASHAMED. ABUSIVE THERAPIST and groups with no substance. If I could Give them a 0 stars I would. This facility is a JOKE and does more damage for recovery in our community than good.
