The Paws Resort

I've boarded my dogs at other places but the Paws Resort is the best place I've found! I was recommended by a friend about the Paws Resort and I'm glad I chose them! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! If you're looking for a place to board your pets I'd recommend the Paws Resort! They are the best of the best!

I cannot say enough good things about the Paws Resort. I have a very strange dog--feral and terrified of people. Harriet at Paws was able to pet her within the first day and took such good care of her, even giving her a bath for the first time in her 12 year life! This place is simply the best. Do not hesitate to bring your pet here. Five big happy stars. Thanks Paws.

You guys are the most awesome place. You care! I hate leaving my dogs anywhere, but leaving them in your care gives me peace of mind. Such a wonderful group of people!!! Thanks Harriet!

Dear Harriet the Paws Resort is Archie's home away from home. Just like going to grandma! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my Archie. You and your ladies are so good to him. He is always so excited when I tell him he is going to see Ms. Harriet! as a matter of fact, I can't tell him too soon before leaving because he becomes a terrible pest until we are out the door. I am so happy I have added grooming as part of his Paws Experience. He always looks beautiful and I have had so many compliments -" oh, who does his grooming , he looks so nice". Thanks so much again; my overall experience at The Paws Resort has been and will continue to be such a pleasure, I wouldn't take Archie anywhere else.

I don't know what to do!! My two babies spent two nights at The Paws Resort with Aunt Harriet and they are acting really spoiled!!! They want to know when they are going back because Aunt Harriet is nicer than mommy and daddy and EVEN AUNT CARLA!!!! WAY TO GO PAWS!!!!!!!

Just wanted to say thank you to Aunt Harriet and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of my baby! It gives me peace of mind while traveling, to know she's being well taken care of ( even if i do call every day to check on her!!!) I appreciate all of you!

Thank you again for taking such good care our two dogs! They act like they just got home from summer camp! Once again The Paws has proven that not only are your pets taken care of as family....they are loved like family!!! They are bored already! Looking at us like "Is this it? Couch and TV? When is our party? Where is our story time? What the heck?"

I have to give a shout out to Harriet Willis Thomas and her team at The Paws Resort! They always take excellent care of our fur babies. Harriet also gave Cricket her fluids twice while we were gone. I don't know of any boarding facilities that administer subcutaneous fluids. Cannot recommend TPR enough!

I'm so glad to have The Paws Resort on my speed dial. Harriet and the gang run a tight ship yet still manage to treat my 2 dogs as their own. My younger dog is terrified of most people and places, but she acts quite at home at The Paws. They know their stuff, whether it's handling special health and dietary needs, finding the perfect playtime buddy, or ensuring a shiny clean, safe facility. I'm a huge fan!

If you love your animals DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE!!!! I boarded 4 of my dogs at The Paws Resort. One of my dogs got injured which what looked like to be from a FIGHT!!! There was a huge puncture right above her eye. The staff did call me and said she got hurt but said it was nothing to worry about. We then took her to the vet and she got 4 stitches just above her eye ( NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT) They also said she got it from trying to dig her way under a fence. I asked her if she was trying to dig why didn't a staff member try and stop her before she got "Caught" under the fence? they had nothing to say about that!! If that was the actual truth then no one was watching my dog at the time this had happened!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY DON"T GO HERE!!! TO add to my long story they tried to charge me for a future appointment that I DID NOT CONFIRM. I told them I would call them If i needed the dates we discussed. After seeing what had happened to my dog WHY WOULD I WANT TO GO BACK THERE????? my debit card was charged $435.97 for a no show fee what a crock!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!

As a testimonial and review of The Paws Resort, it is beyond a doubt that they are the best boarding facility in the area. If you are planning to leave your pet somewhere without guilt, this is the place, very compassionate staff and comfortable surroundings and it is extremely "rescue friendly", especially to Pup & Cat Co. Return customers (meaning pets) come in wagging their tails happy to see their friends again. I mean, what more can you ask! That's a true testimony right there.

We couldn't function without the existance of The Paws Resort. Our 2 fur kids have been guests since 2008. Whether just a weekend night or a full vacation week, they are excited and exhausted every time we pick them up. Our kids are very finicky eaters, so Harriet and her staff are tasked to follow our strick meal plan. Our kids, now 10 and 9.5, get to stay together and are NEVER expected to void on cement, they have only large enclosed turf yards, so they have never developed any 'bad' behaviors. Although the reception area does lack a sence of organization, the staff make caring for all the guests a TOP PRIORITY.
