I called this jerk today to inquire about parts for a Perkins I recently acquired. He was stuck on where I bought the engine and not what I was needing. I needed some various parts for the crate engine, I wanted pricing on the parts and some general information on the engine, hp ratings, application etc., This snarky man stated that he wished me well with my purchase that was not from Foley but he was not telling me anything until he secured a sale. He accused me of being interruptive, loud and excited. I could not hear this snide man because I was driving down the road in my company truck. I hung up, best decision I made all day. I will never spend a red cent with Foley. I called Perkins parts direct, next best decision. I spoke with Robert, a friendly man not concerned with "securing a sale" before speaking with the customer. I spent over $600.00 with Perkins Parts Direct today because of the excellent customer service I recieve from PPD. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. Dr. Diesel needs to diagnose his attitude problem. I would give no stars if I could.

RUDE!

I needed a simple hard to find part. I was stressed because it is for a machine that runs our business. I called and Dr. Deisel says, "slow down". OK good idea, but I realized Dr. Diesel is very rude. He makes you feel like you are being stupid. He will hang up on you if you are stressed. He makes fun of Californians. Foley might have hard to find parts, but they charge WAY too much and are not truly out to help other businesses.

I bought a kit to rebuild an engine...they sent the wrong parts with many parts missing...including instruction manual with key information...after many months back and forth they now wont return the parts that they sent wrong...i bought local to get engine back running...Dr diesel is rude and indignant.. made fun of the fact i lived in the south. hung up on me 4 times thruout their dealings...i was calm and collected every occasion because I own a business and dont want my customers talking down to me...Dr diesel talks down to everyone it seems...i wish I would of googled foley engine compaints... all I wanted was to return the parts they sent wrong...When I told him i would spread over the internet the truth about our dealings he threated to sue me....hilarious...the truth will set you free...

Well thank you yp.com for saving me! I spoke to a rep in the parts dept. of Foley Engines about getting a part for a diesel engine. The guy started out by asking me where I was from- I told him my state, he wanted to know where in the state- I told him the county - he then asked for the town- so I asked him why he needed to know? I just wanted to find out if they have the part I needed. He stopped faking politeness then. I told him the part I needed, he said they have it. I asked him to confirm the part number since I had two part numbers for the item as it was listed in the parts book- he said it would be on the invoice...... So how am I to make sure they are selling me the right part? He then asked my why I am interrupting so much- thought I misheard what he said, but he repeated it and slowly too. I paused and actually apologized to him. He then asked if I was going to purchase the part. I told him I will confirm if I need only one or multiple of the same part- he firmly stated the time where he is in Massachusetts, repeated it again and said they close early on Fridays and told me the time they close and the shipping department closes. I said thank you and that he was a great help to which his response was hanging up without another word. "Superior customer service experience"? Not even close. I spoke to four other diesel engine specialists today and they were all courteous and helpful. Not one talked down to me like this rep at Foley Engines. Thank goodness I search: "Foley Engines Sh*itty customer service" on Google and found these reviews- I will purchase my parts elsewhere.

The personnel at Foley Engines...

The personnel at Foley Engines need a refresher course in customer relations. I called to place an order for a small part and was told just how stupid I was and then the person on the other end of the phone said "Sir, you are so dumb I'm just about ready to hang up on you."



Their website talks about the superior customer service. If that's superior customer service, I'll eat my hat.



Don't spend money with these folks.



Stay away from Foley. There are LOTS of better alternatives.

I bought a rebuilt Deutz engin...

I bought a rebuilt Deutz engine which cost $6000.00. It ran for 40 minutes. The rocker arm fell off. Doctor Diesel rudely told me that I don;t know anything ( I have 25 years of experience), and they refuse to honor any warrrantee or help in any way. If I wanted the engine worked on I would have to pay his mechanic to come fix it, for an expensive fee. So i fixed it myself. This is the worst company I ever have had to deal with in my life. Avoid them at all costs. It's hard to believe that this company is still in business. Check other websites for more scams and rip-offs from these guys. Don't get "Foleyed"!!

These people are jerks. Tried purchasing a part and spoke to a "Dr Diesel"-a real a******e. He said I had to buy the product now or get off the phone, and would not answer my questions. Called me a derogatory name on top of it-I was being polite at the time.

DO NOT EVEN CALL THESE PEOPLE-go elsewhere. I can see by other reviews this is not the place to spend your $$$.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. I WORK FOR A COMPANY THAT HAD THE UNFORTUNATE OPPROTUNITY TO WORK WITH FOLEY ENGINES, THE SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE, I WANTED TO SEND BACK AN ITEM THEY MISSHIPPED ME AND THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME STORE CREDIT AND WANTED TO CHARGE ME TO RESTOCK THE ITEM, IT WASN'T EVEN MY FAULT. I WILL NEVER NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND FOLEY INDUSTRIAL ENGINES TO ANYONE. IF I COULD GIVE NEGITIVE STARS I WOULD.

The company I work for ordered a few parts from Foley Engines, the shipping was very expensive and hidden in a "rush fee", the customer service left something to be desired and then when all was said and done and I needed a copy of the invoice I called Foley only to be told the only way to contact the accounting department was by email. My repeated emails were ignored and I am still to this day, 2 weeks later, waiting for a reply. I would not refer anyone to this company. I was unimpressed and will not use them again.

Foley charged to much when I had a Problem did not want to resolve the problem I have a bad motor they sold me and they will not even call me back. I rate this company a Zero in Service .
